Greetings Daigud,
Oh, how time slips away. The November edition of The eLearning Coach Newsletter is already here. I hope things are going well for you.

Do you ever feel stuck when you need to come up with an eLearning story idea? I know I do at times. To remedy this problem, I gathered interesting writing ideas from various books and websites, adapted the ideas for workplace learning and created the first article. It's a list of 25 story ideas. Some are a little wild, but I figured some of you are too.

In the second article, I look at ways to improve the outdated eLearning user interface. In the third, you'll see how to run a design critique to improve the design of learning experiences.

Now on to the articles:
25 Story Ideas For eLearningI culled ideas from film and fiction writing books and websites. Then modified some of them a bit. Here’s a list of story ideas for eLearning. Grab some ideas now.

Updating the eLearning User InterfaceThe default user interface in typical eLearning is problematic. It is based on a book-like model and uses dated user interface elements. With a little effort though, we can transform the default approach into one that provides a delightful experience. Read more.

Using Critiques To Improve Learning Experience DesignKnowing that it is difficult to work in a vacuum, why don't we make design critiques part of our  process? Many design fields use this approach to improve their products. Find out how to run a critique.
